Phone pairing stopped working

Hi all. Until recently my S24 would auto connect and Android Auto loaded automatically. This no longer works despite multiple attempts to re-pair phone. When I scan for devices on the phone the car is not available. Both Bluetooth settings are on and it shows my phone as a known device but will not connect. Any ideas?
 
Go into your phone and delete the car.
Go into phone settings in the car and delete the phone.
Try pairing, if it still doesn’t work you will need to reset the idrive settings.
Also, make sure your phones software is up to date.
 
This happened to me, albeit with a Pixel 10 Pro. Re-pairing didn't work, but rebooting iDrive by holding the on/off button in the centre of the volume knob for 30 seconds did. Not had any issues after doing that.
 
+1 on the iDrive reboot. Worked for me recently.
After an iPhone software update I was having the same issue.
