Phoenix Yellow Hardtop Forsale

Hi Everyone,

I have for sale my Phoenix Yellow genuine BMW Hardtop. I will try and refrain from writing an essay and just list the main points, as anyone who is interested knows what it is and that it could be wrapped or repainted if required.

The hardtop was purchased by me from Chandlers BMW the main dealer in Angmering West Sussex now (Group 1) and was only used a couple of time before I part exchanged the car and has been carefully stored since, it has not yet been offered for sale elsewhere.

It comes with its cover, fitting key, Original Manual, all the internal trims that were supplied to me. I have tried to take as many photos as possible but if anyone needs anything else please shout and I will do my best to assist.

I am asking £695

Obviously, it will need to be collected, as shipping would be risky and costly. I am based in Bognor Regis West Sussex and would ask for payment to be made by Faster/bank transfer upon collection to protect everyone.

That’s a fantastic price, I’ve not seen one in PY before. I would love to see a pic of it on your car :thumbsup:
 
That’s a great price for what must be an extremely rare colour hardtop. I want to buy it just because it’s phoenix yellow.
 
Whoops have I undervalued it? :o

I will have to see if I have any pictures of it on the car, but that was sold long ago as I px’d it for a Boxster (sorry didn’t mean to swear on here) which I have also now sold.

I have no objections to it being purchased just for the colour so long as it will be loved :D
 
The trouble is you are aiming at a very small market. Not many PY around. So the price is about right.
The more common colours will sell much quicker.
 
Sorry that was a bit tongue in cheek :rofl: I have tried to price it very fairly from what I’ve seen sell on various market places. Obviously, I would be happier if someone who is enthusiastic buys it hence offering here before anywhere else.

Could always drop it on a black car if you really wanted to stand out :wink: Obviously not yours without some unwanted modification :lol:

Well you're selling a rare coloured hardtop on a smallish marketplace too. There are lots of Z4 owners probably not even aware of this forum. Many Facebook Z4 enthusiast pages exist where you may get more exposure and a better price.

It is cheap in today's money but a great find for someone with that colour car. Hardtop's can sell for £1k and sometimes above at times..
Ultimately though it depends if you just want to move it on for sensible money. It'll make someone happy getting one so rare..
 
I use a very old convertible as a daily donkey. I love the fact that I can have a hardtop during the winter. It was a prerequisite when I bought my car. For me I like look of both convertible and hardtops. But judging by the comments, and the fact that no one has snapped this up, shows I may be in the minority. GLWTS :thumbsup:
 
Thanks people, I appreciate the feedback. I can store it short term in my folks garage but that’s not a long term solution, so will need to sell hence, the price I came up with which from the comments made is obviously fair.

Thanks for the info re Facebook, I do have an account but don’t really use Facebook.
 
As well as Facebook groups you could try zroadster.org

To the right person it's very desirable, you just need to find them!
