Phoenix Yellow Coupe

i agree on the PY tom . i love it but it most probably is reducing your market for a buyer ?
Cayman s / you may get lucky & run for 18 months without outlay & get reasonable return but it is a gamble & would take another £6k cash ?
Boxster s / why would you take the risk for a car that doesn't look as good as a Zed ?
650 i / dull ? try one & then say that . they are ballistic & doubt you would be disappointed .
costs to run i would say equivalent to ZM ? just check your garage size if planning to park it away  big motors

Guys

For anyone interested in this car I can confrim its a fantasic example. I saw the car in the flesh a few weeks ago when I was up in York. So its certainly worth the trip and will struggle to find a better example for the price. I spent the weekend around the car so had plenty of time to inspect it.

The pictures Tom has taken does not do this justice its fantasic ! GLWTS

Even if the colour isnt to the buyers liking surely its worth wrapping in another colour at this price.

Good luck with the sale

I love the colour, you need to show it in some pictures in the sun for the full effect. The only thing I don't like is the mileage, I'm looking for something sub 60k so I can still get the BMW warranty for a reasonable $$$.

what is the warranty for ?
unless you have a catastrophic failure which is highly unlikely all the other known faults are easily & relatively cheaply rectified .
to quote my indy " the Z4 is bulletproof & should it go wrong i can sort it for peanuts "

stick hold Tom .
" careful what you wish for " is an old saying & for £8600 i'd love to see the list of alternatives with the same characteristics & running costs

I agree my car is very low spec but it's priced accordingly to reflect this, I think the reason I haven't had much interest is because of the colour. If you don't like PY then it doesn't matter if I price it at £7000 - you still won't buy it, likewise someone who loves PY might have been prepared to give me £10,000!

I am not a fan of PY but if you offered it to me at 7k I am sure I would soon get used to it!

I'm having second thoughts already about letting it go for this price :| I've seen a black Z4MR I like the look of but I don't want to take any less for the coupe on principle!

have you tried ebay classified ad ? sold last 5 cars effortlessly that way & only £14 for 30 days 8)
personally i would remove the forum ad & place on there for £9150 & see what gives

Thats not a bad idea. TBH that was my idea this time around, i didn't specifically want to sell the coupe but I though I'd stick it up for sale at fair price anyway and see what happened, if it didn't sell then no problem. Problem is because it's for sale I've got into the psyche that it's going to sell which has got me all excited looking at alternatives and therefore chipping away at the price so that I'll sooner have some cash to play with.

If I can keep my willpower then I might just stick it on ebay at 9k ONO

Sods law says the first person to ring me quotes the price I've got it on here

Love it, but then I am very biased having owned a PY Coupe for 18 months wit full black and yellow interior. I still miss that car......

as the piston heads link has now expired it might be worth stating the mileage and spec etc?

is this still for sale?
As mentioned above, as the pistonheads ad has expired could you add some more details onto here please.
mainly mileage, spec and maybe an interior pic.

many thanks
