Phoenix Yellow Coupe

a good 50 percent of the cars on the market are way overpriced so I wouldn't say that's the market price simply because they are on the market for literally years

There seems to be 2 threads running on this, but £7,200 doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Still feels like a bargain for the buyer and not a great deal for the seller.

I'm not sure I agree... a 100k e86 can't be worth more than £9k to £10k (unless there is a truly special reason why it's worth more)... £8.2k gives the buyer a £1k to £2k budget to put issues (known and unknown) right. Seems fair.

Presumably the seller has tried and failed to sell privately, or simply does not want the hassle of dealing with buyers.

Saying that auction sales prices do look very cheap to me, if one compares - say - an e86 at auction vs Zachary Luke's asking, or what old land rovers go for compared to ebay asking prices.

I'd say that's very toppy for me

The car has been off the road for 8 years, the front bumper is a different colour to the rest of the car and if you go back to when the seller says it was last serviced you're looking at 2014

There's also no history at all detailed in the advert

It was a very average car just in a very unusual colour.
If it was any other colour it would have been lucky to get to £5k
