Hi all

Anyone fitted the Phillips Ultinon LED's or bulbs with similar size?

Did you have to modify the housing or similar?

I had HID's that lasted about a month before they almost set fire to the housing, so I'm on night breakers, but do fancy better bulbs as the nights get longer.

Technically, those are still illegal but the beam pattern is acceptable in comparison to eBay/Amazon LED bulbs. Though you may actually get better performance from your Night Breakers vs the Ultinon in terms of beam pattern, distance, spread, etc --depending on how new the Night Breakers are or which model of Night Breakers you have-- but those are too many variables to say for sure. I know they'll look a lot better and more modern than halogens but they should be acceptable.

If you get them, you may have to play with the orientation of the bulb to get the best beam pattern though for projectors.

Can you tell me what happened to your HIDs? and how did you notice it almost set a fire?
