Sorry Perry, I was being deliberately pedantic. 
I know why they've set it up, but it's real purpose is really only to fix a computer data processing problem that has its origins in the U.S. So if computers want to express dates like that it's fine but it's still not grammatically correct to do so in British English.
As an aside, the increasing 'Americanisation' of our language is a pet hate of mine, with words like "intern" (and many other corporate US buzzwords) creeping into our language over on this side of the pond and children having "proms".
Anyway, I've diverted this thread enough - back to your photos and meet. Glad you all had a good run out. My car is in my garage being gradually detailed panel-by-panel when I get the chance to drop on to it. It's been clayed all over so I don't want to take it out until I've polished and sealed/waxed!
