Petrol driven Pressure Washers

I'm having difficulty running mine. It works for a few minutes then cuts out. I have a full tank of petrol, oil reservoir is full and water supply is strong. It is a brand new unit.

Does anybody have experience in using these things? I have never used one before so any advice would be great!

Check the air filter if it has one

Fuel starvation ?

Is it a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine? if 2 stroke first place I'd look is the ignition, check see if spark is present and go from there.
Does the engine rotate feely with spark plug removed?

That would be my idea also, check for crushed fuel line from the tank to the carb. !
