Perthshire - Sunday 8th Septmber 2019

Hi Rich.
Would you be ok with me pitching up Sunday morning at late notice provided I get the Z4 back from the garage in time? MOT fail earlier in the week so hoping to get it back tomorrow.
Stuart.

Won't be a problem Stuart, hope things go ok and you can get along? :driving:

Got the car back ok Rich (£600 lighter wallet mind you) so plan to be at Dobbies Perth tomorrow for 9:15.

What a great Run out/drive.
Roads were pretty much free from traffic and weather was decent.

It was one of the most enjoyable one day meets i have had, well put together Richie

Thanks for taking over the organisation for this one,and glad the morning Route was what we had discussed last year, for this run, asthe roads were even better in a z than they were when I drove them last year in the Tiguan with wife and baby on board, lol.
It was nicely put together mate, and the run to Dunfermline In the afternoon was a decent wee road as well.

Nice to see everyone again,as well as some new faces.
Pity the guy I met at Bo'ness carshow earlier in the Year couldn't come out on the drive, but hopefully see you at a meet in the future.
Would also be great if we could get the 2 Phoenix Yellow z4's together at the same meet for some pics etc :D

Look forward to the next one :driving:

Gutted i missed this and hopefully i can make the next one as the pictures look great and what a day you all had for it.

Glad everyone enjoyed the run, weather certainly helped!
Big thanks to eveyone that turned up and made the day so enjoyable!

Looks like a great run in my homeland. Born in Perthshire, moved to New Zealand in my 30’s and got stuck here. Envious of the number of Z4 owners in UK, the forum and the get togethers. Very few here who are enthusiasts. Do miss Scotland when the weather gods smile. Enjoy

Ritchie, any chance of sending me the route. I am still at work but if I get some free time when I'm off I may try some of it. I can't recognise it from the photos but it looks great.

The best driving bits are the Crieff to Aberfeldy road through the Sma Glen, great driving road either direction.
The scenic part was Aberfeldy to Kinloch Rannoch, theres a loop round, mostly single track with passing places but stunning scenery, for Outlander fans it's the road where Craigh na Dun is.
The place we parked looking over the loch is at an old lime kiln called Tomphubil.
Lunch was at the Moness Resort in Aberfeldy.
