The opening Car chase is a mild mannered classic perfection and well worth watching the first ten minutes of Eposode 1 for. Two of my all time favourite cars. Ferrari Dino 246 GT and Aston Martin DBS 8)

The way the DBS's bonnet reaches for the Sky when they drag away from the lights, is frankly comical by today's standards. Watch and enjoy. :wink:

Ha, glad you highlighted this busyg - I have it on series record so I can relive my youth.

You forgot to mention the brilliant theme tune (and backing music throughout) plus the opening credit sequences showing the different background of each of the two characters. So exciting at the time when these two huge stars came together on our TV screens.

Great fun throughout but just shows how far entertainments come in, err 46+ years (Eek! )

I absolutely loved the Dino Ferrari - still a fabulous shape and the Aston is just conservative power and class - yep a thrilling series for a young lad in the early 70s

I loved the persuaders when I was younger. We'd watch it on a Sunday afternoon....followed by the professionals Sunday evening... (maybe a few years later)
