Perished seals

Hi,

After inspecting my ‘new’ Z4 at the weekend, found a few issues with the seals around the boot and door. Looks like a simple fix but being new to BMW ownership, no idea on how / where to obtain replacement parts so reaching out to the community. I’ve attached photos of the offending items. Does anyone know part numbers or where to find parts? Is as simple as removing and replacing?

Car is an 09 E89
Many thanks

When you replace the ones around the boot you will probably find that the sealant has turned to powder, make sure you use a decent sealant when fitting the new one as that’s can be an area prone to leaking, which is something you definitely don’t want with all the electrics in the boot.

I think he is referring to the clip in seals.

Are they really knackered, or just got a lot of dried/ built up crud and lichen on them and gone a bit 'crispy'?
A decent clean with warm, soapy water and then some silicone-based rubber treatment (Gummi-Pflege is a well known brand) can re-invigorate most rubber seals IME (unless they are split of course).

Yep knackered, one door sill missing and one hanging off. The boot ones are split so new ones all round.

Will invest in some treatment for others

Seen the boot trims for about £35, nearly bought as one of my cars is splitting.
Kick plate trim i just replaced with some 5mm U channel about £1.50 metre.
The originals are silly money.
