Performance Modifications

Does anybody have experience with Dinan Engineering's performance modifications?
I talked with them today and their claim is that their High Flow Intake, Ram Air Intake Duct, and Stage Two Engine Software combination will give me a 10% HP gain. That would bring my stock 215 HP to about 237 HP. Their Free Flow Exhaust and High Flow Throttle Body / Stage Three Software will add another 12 HP.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
 
Never used Dinan and I don't see a kit for my 3.0Si coupe (yet), but I've heard nothing but good stuff about them. Their mods do NOT void the warranty, either.
 
I have heard good things too, but they are a bit pricey considering the modest gains you are talking about. Exhaust and intake mods typically only give you gains near peak horsepower RPM. The truth is, BMW has already done a pretty damn good job of tunning our engines and there is not a lot left to be wrung out of them for street driving. You can measure the difference with a stopwatch at the track, but you won't feel much difference on the street. The price of a full Dinan setup is a big chunk of the way towards and ESS supercharger which will yield much more dramatic "kick in the pants" gains.
