Hi guys,

Is anyone else going to this?

http://www.performancecarshow.com/Content/Home/1/

I have booked myself a place via Pistonheads so get on site parking as part of the Sunday Service. Just the line up of cars in the PH parking area sounds incredible and thats not even part of the main show.

Yes I think there are still some places available - the link and directions for bookings are in the article on the front page of the site with the picture of the Lotus Carlton.

The Live Action Arena sounds like a good show:

"Note: Please be aware that Live Action Arena Performances are really noisy, contain lots of smoke and there may be some strobe lighting"

Oh and by the way, to benefit from the PH Sunday Service parking you need to arrive pretty early.

We are staying in a hotel the night before so better not hit the bar too hard the night before!

I went last year and it was a great show, the live action arena was a definitely loud, if a little childish, but it was still well worth the money....

Cant make it this year sadly!

Just purchased a ticket (£33 !! Oof) and have also entered onto the Hall 18 Sunday Service list. Looking forward to it. What time are you setting off James, perhaps we should convoy :)

Hi mate, I'm driving down from Manchester early Saturday morning and staying at a hotel on the outskirts of Birmingham the night before. Will be setting off for the NEC early Sunday morning so we'll see you there. Look forward to having a gander at your car.

Ah yes you mentioned the hotel before, forgot about that. Well I'm planning on driving down that morning, setoff around 6.30 I think, should be there for 8 or just after. In time for the PH SS Parking slot. Look about, watch the show and head back mid afternoon probably.

After a late start, a freezing journey and a not so clean car on arrival I'm now warming up with a coffee before looking at some very hungry cars...

Maniac - how was the show / event? :driving:

Gary - sorry we didn't get chance to have a proper chat with you. We were stressing when we arrived about sorting out our missing tickets (which was fine in the end). Once we came back in I wanted to come and have a natter but we got chatting to a guy about his M3 and couldn't get away! Hope you had a good day. Your car looked very nice - loving the wheels.

The show was really well put together and there was loads to see. I felt you got a lot for a relatively low ticket price (£33 in advance) as this included an entire NEC full of amazing cars and stalls, plus a 60 minute live action show. Highly recommended to everyone when it comes around again next year.

Hey James, was nice to meet you both, shame we didn't get chance to chat but as you say the show was quite good. I left around 2 once I'd done the main show twice over, saw the live show and had a natter with the Quiafe guys about the possibility of a nice shiny LSD :) back into Manchester around 3.30 just before it got dark and threw it down with rain, good timing. Your car was also attracting attention, I've got some pics I'll pop up...

Was disappointed to miss the chance to chat with the other PHers about their cars. I'll message you next time there's a Sunday Service and see if you want to head down in convoy.

I had a good chat with the Bilstein guys, which was helpful, but oddly they were unable to sort me out some B8s as they don't sell direct to public.

What was the verdict on the Quaife? They are supposed to be a good piece of kit.
