Performance BMW carbon Z

Hey, I wonder if anyone has purchased this months Performance BMW mag. There is a black Z with a full carbon laminated interior, in my opinion it looks absolutely mint
In the description he talks about sending all parts to china to get laminated then returned here. I was wondering if anyone knows if anyone provides this service in the UK or better yet scotland?
Also I see kits online for DIY and was wondering if anyone has tried?

This was marksdesigns car on here, if you look in the for sale threads you will find it, sold for a bargain price imo.

i actually though the car was so over done, and way to much laminate carbon to the point it went past the purpose full look you see in high end performance vehicles. Im all for carbon in function pieces and even the odd dress up like the mirror housing etc, but laminating everything to your bog seat in it just looks shite.

Thought this was going to be about a carbon-bodied car (£15k of parts alone I believe) - not stuck-on CF tat :poke:

:P

Was a 2.2 as well! That's probably why it sold cheap, as well as reducing the potential market with all the mods. I also think all that laminate was too much.

+1 I totally agree with you less is more sometimes the carbon was a bit OTT

If it was a 3.0, it would have probably got a lot more interest. I am sure the same effect could be had with hydrodipping all the parts
