Happened a month or so ago... parked outside work. Came out to this, no note, and builders who where working on a local pub denied it.. scaffolding poles on the back of one of the vans... asked for cctv footage but got didn’t come forward.. aren't people twats...it’s a bummer that I know who’s done it, but can’t prove it... the silence was deafening...

Anyway, new boot lid sprayed up and new bumper clips and rear light ordered ready to be fitted tomorrow. No point claiming on insurance as according to a body shop mate, they’ll write it off... so it’s got to come out of my pocket.

Crap :( . If it's any consolation it looks like zero harm to the bumper, so that's saved on repairs/repaint. Only just missed by the look of it.

Had a similar issue a coupe of years ago, somebody keyed my rear quarter panel, then someone else seen it and thought this guy with a Zed is an arse so I’ll do it too and I ended up with two huge long white tram lines along the panel, that was a few bob to get resprayed :headbang:

Sadly its modern selfish people . Daughters other half just had his MX5 stoved in this week at their local supermarket and the other party did a runner.

My left wing took a slap from some dizzy mum-type coming through a chicane in a her sh!tty Peugeout family snotbox when she should have waited for me to pass. I had right of way, but no, impatient Annie had to come charging through, swiping me in the process. Left a nice crease on the front edge of the wing.
Didn't even stop even though there was a loud 'dink' and a clear knock. She more than likely had damage too.

Probably in a rush to collect her whinging entitled sprogs from school / catch the shops to stock up on tena lady or women's sanitary items / collect winnings from the betting shop because she had a win on the horses that day / get dinner for the family from McDonalds / all of the above.

By the time I turned around to give chase she'd scarpered.

I feel for the OP and agree that people are not willing to take responsibility for their actions, but with the above comments Chris, it looks like you have lost the battle against Women.

Maybe some blatant stereotyping going on there but no mysogyny intended.

I witnessed someone reverse into a stationary car, did a fair bit of damage then legs it.
I left a note on the windscreen of the stationary car with my details and the other parties REG number and car details.
He , the guilty guy must have got done proper. I did receive correspondence from the innocent parties insurance regarding what happened, I signed a witness statement.
I met the guilty guy a couple of times whilst out and about.....he gave me a murderous look each time :o :|
Serves him right! I will report anyone doing such a thing!
