Had a run out in the Zed yesterday with Alison. We drove up the M6 to Penrith, a quick stop at Penrith RUFC and on to Alston via Hartside Pass. Then on through Middleton in Teesdale, Brough and Kirkby Stephen. Next stop was Pendragon Castle and then Hawes, Ribblehead, Ingleton, Slaidburn, Waddington and Clitheroe. Then back down the A59 and finally home. We covered some 240 miles on great roads, blue skies and superb scenery...a fabulous days driving !
Some photos taken en route.

We were out and about that day on some of the same roads :D (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=87751)
Great pic of the Ribblehead viaduct  wish we'd pulled over and taken a few spans now.

A superb day out wasn't it ? :D Ribblehead Viaduct is always very photogenic. I have some belters taken there with snow and dark, low clouds...so atmospheric. Your photos are superb as always Marlon. Dent is lovely. Did you go in The Sun Inn ?

No. A mate of mine asked me the same question, wish we had - the cafe we had lunch in wasn't great :( Next time we will.

Great pictures, drove that route down from the Lakes on out way to Wales last years. Some lovely roads and some wind swept moors as I recall :D :driving:
