Pedals

I fitted a set on my first car. They were momo IIRC. They improved pedal grip considerably.

The tricky thing with BMW pedals is the long accelerator pedal - which prevents the sporty look IMO. Would be good for decoration? :thumbsup:

Haven't got hese myself yet, but when I do it the ones in your pic are what I will get I think. Personally I'll get the rest for completeness TBH. I think they are visually a great upgrade, had alloy pedals in my Focu ST and miss them in my footwell :thumbsup:

Or has anyone tried to modify/re-position the accelerator pedal to allow easier heeling and toeing?.

I sometimes find it difficult to blip the throttle hard enough when braking heavily and wonder if the accelerator pedal could easily be repositioned using a packer underneath?.
 
Couldn't agree more on the heel and toe point. Not the easiest set of pedals for it

I faffed up the drilling on my first car. No harm done, just drill another hole. Usually the new pedal covers hide any mistakes :lol:

Psy - I have the set you reference fitted to mine. Been on a few years and are really good quality and grippy.

I cut the footrest to match the Z4 and it worked out well.

Everyone has LED lights though ; I need LED lights - next upgrade, new bulbs all round the car. Then pedals.
 
I purchased a similar set to the op last year on ebay for a manual car.
Luckily I got them quite cheap on a private sale because when I put them against the existing pedals I discovered the brake and clutch pedals are frationally bigger than the originals and it would therefore be impossible to put all four nuts and bolts on :cry:
I have put them to one side in the garage whilst I decide how to get around the problem.
The advert did list all the models they would fit including the Z4 :roll:
 
Been tempted for a set of new pedals I do like the metal ones alot more. May have to just take the chance and hope they fit.
