£3.99...? I wouldn't hold out much hope... A set of primary controls for a 30 grand car and you put that on ;) Lets hope your next post isn't one showing the car in a hedge.

Also, it would appear my reservations are backed up by the fact you've posted this in the e89 Problems area. It could well turn into that lol
 
I think they look OK from the picture, but are you really going to trust the brake pedal to stay in one piece on the day you have to stop really quickly? I wouldn't.
 
Spur of the moment purchase, will probably end up chucked at the back of the cupboard.
Posting in the problem section by mistake.....already anticipating the problems they cause!
Can't see how the little bit of rubber on them would last long.
 
Don't hold out much hope for quality but worth a punt at the price. Moved to discussion section :thumbsup:
 
Ah, its been moved into e85/6 discussion... the next question now its been moved from problems, is was this for an e85/6 or e89? ;)
 
I dont know if the accelerator pedal wil fit... I'm not an expert though. Also, with the universal pedals, its a bit more drilling/messing around than model specific ones

While to some extent I agree the 2 issues I see are they are generic so won't fit the pedals correctly and the rubber inserts will be cheap plastic that won't either last or grip a sole in an emergency.

Wouldn't pay £200 either :thumbsdown:
 
is there a "forum standard" pedal to go for? seems a pretty simple/cheap mod which looks a lot better, but i dont wanna be fooled by ebay photos into buying something poor quality?
 
ive just realized..... i actually have no idea what mine has atm hahahaha could have a set already on for all i know :rofl:
 
i had the other oem aluminium pedal covers installed in my previous car. Would love them but they started to corrupt (is this the right word?) due to salt water carried outside at wintertime. (They put salt onto roads here to avoid slippery and melt the ice at winter)
