Pearl Grey Oregon Leather

Hi all.

Im currently looking at a Z4 coupe which has the Pearl Grey Oregon Leather. Although i don't mind the look of it, i was wondering how well it will stand up to stains from dark clothes and general wear? Does it get dirty easy? Or am i better off getting a Black leather interior instead?

many thanks in advance!

i`ve got the begie seats. they dont get to dirty if you take care of it on a regular basis
by the way i have never seen the grey leather. i guess no one tought it would look good back than when ordering the car so you`ll have a rare combination :) (never seen the grey softtop as well)

Sounds nice always thought on a darker coloured Z4 grey leather would look nice extended grey could look superb what colour is the car?

its leather mate,it will clean up easy,just get a kit to protect
it after you clean it. :thumbsup:

heres a pic of it...

Just wondering what others think of this.. or i may have trouble selling it on when i want rid of the car.. dont want to end up with a lemon that no-one wants to buy.

The exterior colour of the car is Montego Blue..

After looking at your pictures, grey leather looks nice with brushed aluminium dash. Get some good leather cleanner and conditioner instead of changing the colour. :)

thats very nice,think i would rather have that,than my black leather,as i say
look after it and it will sell no prob,christ you aint got it yet and your
thinking of selling it on.if you get it,you wont get rid off it :D

its ok
SW=steering wheel
M= Z4M version..

the M has special seats and steering wheel which can be add to a regular Z (the pic you uploaded has both)

I have borrowed an M5 from work at the moment with pearl grey leather seats and to be honest I really dont like the colour - way too light and I think it is to stark against all the black on the dash and brused aluminium. Oh and the drivers seat is filthy (the rest are immaculate) and having spent 20 mins today trying to clean it I have promised myself to never ever buy a car with this colour of leather.

I have the 2 tone i mine and it stay very clean :thumbsup: maybe clean the seat every 12 weeks or so :)
one thing! look out for is bum wear on the seats side had to have mine change after only 5000 miles :o

If you look after it, it will be OK, but you'll need to put in the effort. If it starts to look tatty, it will look horrible :(

Worth it because it looks really nice :thumbsup:

thanks for the all tips guys.. the car im looking at is a Z4 Coupe and is brand new. Only done 85 miles so no trouble with previous owner. Im just looking at the ownership side of it. and how easy it is to keep clean or decent condition..

3.0Anderson, Did you manage to clean it in the end?

2dogs, i think your is slighty better as the main part of the seats is dark. Why did you have to have the sides replaced? did you replace the whole seat or just the sides? under warranty? if not, then can i ask how much it costs you?

Cheers

Hmm got some of it out but still not happy with it and will give it another go tomorrow. Not sure it has been cleaned as much as it should have been and probably with regular cleaning it will be ok. In the long term though I am pretty sure it will show more wear than a darker colour.
