Managed to fit my new Bosch s3 battery today. Good job as old one was an rac replacement and not sure how good they are rated.

Cleaned up the terminal heads, coated them up with some lubricant, and hovered out debris from tray whilst the battery was out. Engine sparks up a treat now

You just reminded me I need to buy a new one also. Mines 7 years old and beginning to die

how much was it? On eurocarparts theres so many different ones and i'm unsure what is best.

Paid £70 from car battery world on Ebay. I had the same problem with euro parts so I used Ebay, it was easier and little difference in price.

I had to measure mine and send the sizes.

If it helps for 03 e85 2.5i

Battery 2750mm wide / 170mm deep / 170mm total height

Yes sorry, used to reading out measurements without the 0s, might power a radio controlled Z lol will amend accordingly
