Paying off Car PCP

My current car is coming to the end of its PCP period and I have 3 options
1. Swap to new model and pay lump sum deposit - Not really what I want to do
2. Hand it back and walk away
3. Pay the final balance and keep the car.

Has anyone had experience with option 3, can you haggle a bit with the finance company? Surely there is a cost to them to collect the car, clean, repair (nothing to repair by the way), market etc.
I wonder if I can get some money off the final balance?

As a rule, no.

They set these figures normally lower than they would expect to achieve at auction, so effectively they will make on the sale.
