Only thing i would not have done is the black grille. To me denotes the base model and imho doesn't work well with the colour/theme you've gone for, making the nose too heavy/prominent.
Hi. Thank you for your comment. I partially agree with what you are saying there, getting the grill sprayed black was high on my list of mods to do as I thought it made the front look meaner but now it's done it doesn't look quite as good as thought it would :|
Iv got a Freind coming over the weekend to take some decent pictures and see how it looks on them so there is a possibility I may return them to standard.

They have a curtesy car if needed plus Dave will talk through the whole precess and is very helpful. I paid what I felt was top money getting this done as I wanted them to fit the kit as well plus the front bumper being secondhand needed lots of prep. Also they had to remove the rear bumper and cut it so the rear diffuser fitted. Total cost was nearly 1k including vat. I know you get it done a lot cheaper if you just supply the kit to be sprayed and fitted it yourself but a decent shop would want something off the car to get a perfect paint patch as I was told there are 4 different shades of sterling grey.
It's also worth mentioning included in the work was extra layers of lacquer on the front bumper and side sills as these are prone to stone chip so wanted a tougher Finnish.

Same way that red centre brake lights look better on dark cars and clear best on light. Amber indicators are not so bad on dark and horrendous on light colours, etc.

No I don't think spraying the chrome edge black will make it look any better. Il leave it for now it's an easy change if I want something different. The problem I have is I'm a big fan of Motorsport especially gt racing so I big part of me wants to get 19" black alloys lowered suspension then black or carbon door mirrors and get the rear diffuser wrapped in black then the black grill would fit in nicely but I'm trying hard not to go down this road

Very nice indeed love a full aero z4 lover the rear diffuser so much I put one on mine

No not mine matey mines a garage queen well sort of as it sits on my drive like this most of the time
I would put it in the garage but that space is already taken up by my MK 1 TT :roll:

It's ok I think it's a tough one really deciding to mod a Z4 with its unique styling but with the Aero kit I believe it enhances those classic lines. The Aero side sills have that line that follows through to the Aero front spoiler and the rear diffuser also follows the lines in the rear bumper. Spoilers are fine if done properly I think it only works with the full kit though but that's just my opinion.

Spot on! I polish it more than i drive it at the moment! The cover only goes on when it's been cleaned and polished.
If anyone's interested in car covers this one from Halfords is perfect for the Z4 tight fit and has 3 straps that go underneath so the cover does not move around. Iv used car covers for over twenty years now and never had a problem with them damaging the car.
