passengers urghhhhhhh

Haha just been catching up with this thread - most amusing!

Somebody once suggested they got into my car with an open can of coke in their hand. They soon realised it was better that we waited for them to finish it before they got in!

Haha what's the old thing people say? Me myself and I? To me it's more like me myself and Z lol

I like that !

You should look into a personal plate, "MEMYANZ" OR "MEMYNZ "

Btw. Somehow she always makes it my fault too. Not sure what magic that is but it works.

Now that I've reached the ripe old age of 67, I have (at last) realised that, despite any evidence to the contrary, it is ALWAYS MY FAULT!
I have eleven motobikes and all of them have solo seats - if it was possible to remove the passenger seat of the Z4 and slide the driver's seat to the centre, I would probably do it - just think of the elbow room!

Wow. I eat and drink all the time in my car, then every 3 months I fill a black bin liner with all the crap - I think I'm in the minority on here though

you and me both

Cheered me up no end guys, thanks

And yes, most apply to me as well.

You guys have missed one trick though - I have a towel in the boot that I put on the passenger mat when the weather is not great :D

My wife has jeans that have a kind of glittery sheen/texture and she is now banned from wearing them in my car due to the half hour of hoovering it took to get it off the leather :headbang:

cargo nets, i have a thing about them, passengers who think they can use them should be shot, they are there for show only, i don't risk them being stretched

Just bundle passengers in the boot with an ikea bag surrounding them is the only solution

In my beater, I eat until the door pockets are over flowing into the footwell with discarded wrappers. However, eating so much as a single crisp in the Zed will result in a yellow card for the offender.

 (had to use the Urban dictionary for that).
One was a rather successful management consultant. Very nice chap but did screw up his face a bit if he saw a chip/scratch on my iPhone or when I didn't take my eye make up off and got mascara on his designer sheets, he even bought me eye make up remover . You're all the bloody same :poke: :poke:

Lol, the word is a personal favorite of mine which seems to be catching on!

As we don't judge on this forum (ha) I wont be crude, however what guy buys designer bed sheets??!?!! genuine question, I will make the investment if it's going to be worthwhile... I just can't see it making a good impression when I'm entertaining and I have to use the line "EASY, YOU'LL RUIN THE DESIGNER SHEETS...."

perhaps designer sheets are more hardwearing...you need to do a bit of arithmetic to find out how worthwhile a purchase it is...although arguably, unless you are a gypo in a studio flat, by the time the worth of your bedding's known, the point of no return has been reached. or you could wheel then out for the first date....then vacuum pack them for the next time they're required.

i am going to produce the 10 commandments for Z4 passengers, so far i have:

1 Items of clothing must be free from any such items that make cause damage to seats – those jeans with zips on are not coming in my car
2 Vehicle entry/exit must be in a slow and controlled manor – be careful you big fat idiot
3 Doors must be closed with a force that causes no long term damage – don’t slam the bloody doors
4 No food or drink allowed – it’s a car not a bloody café
5 Do not place greasy fingers on the vehicle trim – keep your bloody sticky fingers to yourself

Perhaps 5 should be amended to require all passengers to wash their hands before entering the car ?

Also, dirty footwear must be removed ; permission should be politely requested before adjusting any climate, audio or other environment controls... And refusal should be accepted with grace and humility

For roadster owners only - if the roof is down before you get in, you may not ask for it to be put up.

Do not smash the seatbelt against the seat or door when removing it - carefully allow it to reel in and rest the buckle gently agains the seat

Do not complain about the ride quality - if you don't like it then take a bus

No feet on dash, ever - doing so will result in a broken nose, either from any necessary violent deceleration causing your face to smash into your knees, or my fist.

If I had it my way I would make my passengers wear one of those forensic suits with gloves..

Brilliant!

many many years ago I had an apprentice who drove a brand new , white Corvette Stingray to work everyday. We thought it hilarious to see him arrive and strip off his immaculate white coveralls to reveal his work clothes underneath and then reverse the process at quitting time while the rest of the crew jumped into our mishmash of grotty vehicles ( and my company Van).
I finally understand how far ahead of us he was......

My brother in law has a E90 m sport from new , i thought he was just awkward but now thinking he would fit into this discussion just fine
he has a pair of slippers in the boot for when he picks his 8 yr old up from school , the youngster does not get in the seat until the slippers are on.
the shoes go in a bag as does his coat  my mum told me this as a secret :D
