Passenger Window sticking

Hi

I am approaching the first anniversary of the purchase of my Z4 and have no regrets and still enjoy walking up to the car each day. A wonderful drive.

My passenger side window has started making a gritty noise when operated. It is also sticking and sometimes needs help manually to fully close. Any ideas. I imagine this needs a trip to the garage. Anyone now a garage in the Wimbledon area? The car was serviced last June so probably also due for a service.

Could be the regulator on its way out, have a look in the guides or have search

Had my window regulator go on my driver side last year on the zed. This was with all the signs yours is showing. Plenty of help on this forum on how to change over and on YouTube. It's quite an easy fix if you are up for it. A garage will probably charge the earth for doing it. :?

Yup, prob the cable on the reg, mine went last week on the passenger side, had been noisy since purchase. Luckily the sun has been shining, so the roof has remained down. My repair kit arrived this morning, full cable, spool, spring and clip kit for £17.50 delivered from This Ebay Link It's my job for Sunday..

Took me about 90 mind to do mine, a good 15 of which was carefully removing the membrane to reuse. A very sharp knife to slice through the middle of the butyl sealant helps!

All done and working perfectly now.
