Passenger Side "wobble"

I have a 2005 z4. 3.0. It has low miles, about 25,000 right now. It sits in the garage a good bit but this weekend I took it out to drive and noticed a dramatic "wobble" coming from what seems to be the passenger rear tire/brake/rotor. As far as I can remember it didnt do this the last time I used it....Anyone ever heard of this? I thought it might be a stuck brake pad or something like that so i braked a few times pretty hard but it still wobbles. Drove it around the neighborhood a couple times but it didnt get better or worse. Any help guys? Thanks in advance...

Its possibly, i will look but I dont think that a weight would make this much of a noise and bumping feeling at less than 5mph.. It is a noticble sound and feel at even a slow roll. I didnt even get above 20mph so I dont think a weight would make a difference at such a slow speed. Its almost like the rotor is warped and it grinding/rubbing on each rotation but there wasnt any hint of this last time I drove the car. Its probably sat a few weeks in a garage since the last time I drove it.

Thanks

at such a low speed I wouldn't expect balance to be that noticeable either :(

certainly sounds brake related...

Have you checked the parking brake / handbrake - obviously this isn't visible, but try driving with it slightly on. Other thing I can think that might do this is the bushes (bushings)... made a bizarre noise on mine, although that was the front.

Given the speeds it is doing this could you get someone to cycle along side to try and pin point exactly where the problem is? Obviously somewhere safe!

It almost seems as if there is a small wooden dowel attached across the tire as the thumping increases with wheel rotations.... Hmmmm...

How long has it been left parked without moving?

I think you need to jack it up and rotate the wheel to see what's wrong.

Wonder if the tyre is at low pressure and has flatted badly. Look for loose wheel nuts, handbrake problems, etc.

I adjusted the parking brake thinking that something might be stuck, with no success. I felt around the tire to see if there was any notacible warping but didnt notice anything. Its been left for longer periods in the garage and never had a problem before like this. This time maybe a few weeks without moving. I cant even guess as to what it is but i for some reason I feel as if its something stupid and hopefully nothing big and expensive.. Keep throwing ideas out there guys, thanks.
