I did a cable repair around 2 years ago on my Z4 passenger (which was a pig of a job, I should have just bought the whole regulator instead!) and as (bad) luck would have it, just as I am about to sell the car, the window mechanism is on its last legs.
I am not sure whether it's the cable (again) or if the motor has just had enough. I've not had the chance (or weather) yet, to get the door card off and investigate, and I've not wanted to risk undoing the window and being stuck with it open given how much rain we've had recently. So I just thought I'd buy the whole mechanism including the motor from whoever has one for sale please.
