Passenger side wind noise.

Hi guys new to z4 recently got a z4 3 litre in Titan silver. Only problem I am having is that there is quite alot of wind noise coming from passenger side door window. The window does move after being closed and the rubbers appear in very good condition. I understand that the window is adjustable however adjustment Allen bolt has disappeared. I wondered if there was anything else that may be worth trying or where I can find a new adjusting bolt. I expected some wind noise as it's obviously a convertible but my mgf was much quieter. Any input appreciated

I had exactly the same problem when I bought mine, tried resetting the window but didn't work, in the end I adjusted the hoop bolted to the car that the door latches onto and it worked a treat! 2 hex bolts need loosening then I slid it a mm or 2 towards the drivers side to pull the door in a bit! :thumbsup:
 
U will probably have to take the door card off and look at the grey cover about 8 inches up from the bottomand 3 inches from the outside edge. there is a large hole (covered by grey cover) which U will need to cut so u can put a torx drive fitment through T20 or T25. Then U will need to lower the window till U can see the bolt and basically have a fiddle about.
When you open the door can you get hold of the window and move it side to side? If you can then you need to adjust and tighten the bolt by this procedure above.

Mine fell out so I had to cut the whole grey cover then seal with gaffer tape so it does not leak water when it rains :thumbsup:
