Passenger rear wing

I looked at replacing mine recently but got a little nervous when it came to pushing the roof forward and, more worryingly, removing the weather seal from the small panel above the boot. Has anyone managed to access the bolt under the panel without moving either the roof or seal?
 
Have removed the seal several times when removing the roof. Just need to be careful not to crimp the metal 'jaws' (best way I can describe it) of the weatherseal when reattaching to the car body, until the weatherseal is on fully, then squeeze with fingers to get a good purchase between the seal and the car. Use a bit of lubricant (I used silicone spray) to reattach easily.
That's assuming you're talking about the strip that runs around the boot and is part of the roof? :?
 
Thanks enzed4 - that's the deal. It just looks like something that once removed could be a right pain to re-attach. I just need to move the hood forwards slightly so I can access the bloomin bolt :x
