Madness indeed.
It's about time all this nonsense about quarantine ends. As long as you have been double jabbed that should be enough, at most a negative test just to make sure, but anything else is just being ridiculous.
I get the distinct impression that the scientists want to keep us in lock down and just thinking up new ways to impose it without it actually being called a lockdown.

It started so well as well at the Eurotunnel where they wanted to put the M in the x-ray machine. In my best French I told them to do one as they weren't going to drag my car through the machine on one wheel clamp (which was too narrow anyway so would have damaged the alloy).
At least it is great with the French, with pushback they surrender straight away

Its to check up that people are quarantining where and when applicable.
Not that much different to your immigration / landing cards you complete when visiting most foreign climes outside the EU. On those you have to give very similar info such as address of hotel or place you are visiting, how long for, contact details, flight details and reason for visit and we complete those without a fuss.
