Passenger floor mat fitting

I know this might be a first world problem, but please help.
I am not sure if my floor mat has been fitted correctly. If I want to fit front part, then the end of the floor mat (near the seat) will not cover velcro on the floor, on the other hand if I fit floor mat to floor with velcro, then the front will not fit under the place where foot cover ends. I hope you can understand me.
Here is the thing. Floor mats are oem.

I would take a guess and say that whoever fitted the velcro fasteners to the floor put them in the wrong place.
You should be able to unscrew them and put them where you would like them to be. They just screw into the carpet.

It should sit back - as said, the Velcro is in the wrong place. Neither of my Zs have had Velcro on the passenger side mat though.

As bing said, no Velcro on the passenger mat. The mat should be touching the seat runner from memory.

Where can these screw in Velcro bits be found? I need to get some.

Last time I bought a set of genuine mats they came with them.
Its a large plastic circle thats made of the velcro type stuff and it has a self tapping base that just screws into the carpet.

Weird, maybe different mats for different models? I recently got a set of new mats - the Velcro strip was in the right place but nothing else included. My Velcro on the carpet was coming off so I removed it but have yet to find a suitable replacement.

As far as I know, USA models got mats with circle type velcro under the mat, vehicle velcro on the floor was rectangular.
Z4 emblem on USA made floor mats.
EU models are showed below.
The thing is, in the vehicle floor there is a place where the floor mat is supposed to end. And I would like to ask you to make a picture below passenger foot area.
Can you tell me how my cover over feet (cabin filter one) supposed to be attached to the cover to the right (speaker)?ARAjiwn.png

That shape is the same for me but obviously is our drivers side. My passenger side has no Velcro but the clip doesn't interfere. Is the trim seated correctly?

As I said before it needs to be touching the seat runner. The fact the cut out is there gives the clue.

It simply cannot be there @srhutch, it is because I marked with red line 2 posts above area where vehicle velour is deeply pressed down. It is obvious place for this.
