Passenger Airbag?

A curious question, did all Z4's have the facility to turn off/isolate the passenger side air bag in order to fit a child rear facing seat?

I think it was optional.
Mine was specced with it but seein as it's my solemn intention never to have kids of my own, nor look after anyone elses whining kiddybrat, happily i'll never need to activate it :lol:

Mine is a 2003 and does not have the turn off option.

Yes, was a specific option and ones that have it have a small 'airbag off' sign near gear stick if I remember correctly. Mine has it and was a non negotiable extra for me!

It can be retrofitted quite easily!
