Passenger airbag switch retrofit

I need to retrofit the passenger airbag switch. I've got the parts I need and am comfortable coding. My Z is a 2003 so I believe the cables should all be there. I've found the cable for the switch behind the passenger side vent but am struggling to find the cable for the airbag on/off light. I've taken out the ashtray and the gear stick etc. but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have any tips or info on where to hunt for it? Thanks in advance.

Also, if I can't find the cable for the light. Will the airbag still be disabled but without a light to indicate this?
Not exactly sure where the light cable is, though common sense tells me if you remove the gear lever surround it should be in there somewhere?
However, I'm not certain but there may be some legal requirement for the light, to highlight the fact that the airbag is switched off?

And this one, which shows the light gets power from Fuse 28 (5A), so the Safety module must complete the earth circuit.Capture1.PNG

Once you remove the gearshift boot look under that foam seal that's in the console. Sometimes it gets hidden underneath that foam.

Thanks, that helped. It was upper right of the gear lever underneath the trim and stuffed underneath the foam and carpet. Plugged in and it illuminates during the pre-system check for a few seconds, so I guess it works. So I "just" need to figure out what options need turning on for coding now... If only it wasn't all in German!

Use Google Translator it's time consuming but it will help you learn German while you are using it to code your car!
