Part Suppliers?

Hi,
I did search but couldn't find anything obvious.

Can anyone recommend a reliable cost effective part supplier, I need the lower steering column assembly.
I have the part number, just loathe to use BMW direct if possible!

Try SOPERS BMW in Lincoln - parts department will give a good discount if you mention when ordering you are from the Forum

I buy my bmw parts directly from Germany, you cant beat prices.
Autohaus pielmeier for example sends parcels to Finland no problem.

Don't really get that, they're hardly the same thing. One sells brand new original BMW components (they can supply any of bmw's parts catalogue), the other is a breakers yard that may have some 2nd hand bmw parts for your car:? As far as breakers go, Quarry motors often have BMW stuff in. Otherwise if you want new OE parts it's bmminiparts or dealers.
