Part number HELP... exhaust studs.

I went to fit my replacement exhaust today and when I inspected it on the ramp noticed the studs and nuts at the front are very badly corroded and will need replacing, so I backed out... and called my local dealer to order the parts I need in.

I have ordered items 3 and 5 from this diagram http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BU52&mospid=49303&btnr=18_0653&hg=18&fg=10

But...

I also need the studs, identified as number 8 on this diagram, but not listed... can anyone help me out with what I need to order?

Unfortunately the BMW dealer was unable to help.

My car is a 2006 3.0si roadster.

EDIT - it says "Items pictured without a number are listed on another diagram." but part 8 isn't listed on any other diagram related to the exhaust!?

Many thanks

I cannot believe that the studs are rusted so badly that the need replacing :o Especially on a 2006
If they are...... can you not just but correct size bolts and nuts of internet or steel stockist at a fraction of the price? M10

Yep, I had made the same assumption before getting it up on the ramp - everything else is in good order, but there is little left of either the nuts or the studs where that connection is (one nut is so corroded it's half the size of the other!).

I have ordered some high tensile bolts that should do the trick, but would prefer to use the correct OE part, if I can find out what it is.

FWIW I have ordered the studs listed on the 3.0i model exhaust. Hopefully these will be close enough :-)
