Part identification please

Bit of spirited driving and the bulb cover fell off the bottom of the rear view mirror.
Two of the three tangs have broken so it won't go back into place.
Strange thing to fail!
Any idea where I might get the part number, and indeed the part please?

I'd start off with BMW - some parts aren't silly prices! I'd ask Cotswold BMW or Sopers of Lincoln as they both offer a forum discount.

Looks like that bulb cover only comes as a complete mirror assembly its not on Realoem as a listed individual item.

Best is find a really cheap Second hand Mirror off a car someone is stripping and take it off that ......I did .

Don't think I'll be buying a new mirror, that sounds very expensive!
Bit of super glue might be the answer. I can't ever see the need to access the downlight.

Just push a blob of blutack in there itll hold it or a piece of double sided tape
