With the miles, it may be that they wanted to shift it on to an independent dealer, but to take a profit from the deal twice. So, there are three profit margins in the overall deal. Dealer makes on both new car and your trade in, as does the indie dealer... :thumbsdown:
Ah yep a lot of miles. Hard to take really, but if you had only done 10,000 miles you would still be getting a derisory offer.
Better to have had the use out of the car I reckon, think how much worse those 60k miles would have been in something rubbish, like a TT
