Parrot Unika - What functionality does it actually give?

Hi,

I've got a Parrot MKI9100 fitted in my E85, with the screen tucked away in the ashtray out of sight unless you open it and I'm just wondering if the Unika is worth fitting for the steering wheel. As I used the justcarkits Aux input loom my Ipod is played through the Aux function using the Headunit amp instead of the crappy Parrot one. Another benefit this gives is the volume buttons work on the wheel but I'm wondering what else will work with the Unika fitted. Anyone got first hand experience of it? I'm particularly keen to have the ability to answer/end calls on the wheel as I'm not a huge fan of having the Parrot remote on display.

thanks

I suspect although volume and skip tracks rocker buttons on the wheel will talk with the parrot, the phone related buttons might not.
Seen three aftermarket stereos in zeds (one mine) with working volume and skip tracks buttons on the wheel, but phone related buttons don't seem to communicate with anything that isnt the bmw oem bluetooth for some reason.
I'm only basing this on the three examples I have seen tho - none of which was a parrot.
Hopefully someone on here has one and can say for sure.
