Parrot mki9200...

Just had this installed in my Zed and omg what an excellent bit of kit.
I wimped out and got it professionally installed though I did reposition the mic as stuck behind the mirror pointing at the deck it wasn't doing anything.
What I like about it the most is the voice recognition which is pretty faultless and the bluetooth streaming from my iPhone which is excellent for both music and sat nav.
For anyone that is looking for an all in one solution to their music/phone/sat nav. This is pretty much a perfect solution .

ive got one as well but for some steange reason ive noticed that the music is coming out bery quiet for some reason even with everything turned up?

Can we see some pictures of your install, im contemplating to get the mki9100 or the 9200, im worried the 9200 screen looks too big...

I was also worried about the size of the screen and contemplated the 9100 exactly for that reason. However, it really is quite small (2.5") and very slim so is not intrusive at all.
After a lot of considering where to put the screen; above the centre vents, above the driver's side vent in the end I settled on just above the driver's side cup holder blanking plate.
I wanted to be able to see the screen easily but for it to be out of sight as it were from outside the car and imo this is the perfect position.
The mic went up behind the rear view mirror with the remote mounted just to the left of the steering column where I can easily reach it.
I did consider the 'iDrive' remote position by the gear stick like some have, but I preferred having it out of direct view.

Something must be wrong with your install as I had not needed to turn the volume past halfway and it's plenty loud even with the roof down.
Check to make sure you have sound coming out of all your speakers; if it's only coming out of the front two then it's not installed properly.

Do you have the PROF HIFI on your car ? and is the phone call audio routed through your speaker ?

Where did you get it fitted ?

I have the standard setup with the business head unit.
If your phone supports bluetooth, then you simply pair it to the Parrot and all calls then come through your speakers and your music gets muted.
I have an iPhone 3G and despite being an ancient phone, it paired at once.
What is excellent is that I have Sat Nav on my phone as well and that comes through the speakers as well via the bluetooth.
So for me at least it was a win-win situation as I didn't have bluetooth/decent music/SatNav in the car and now I have.
A company called Pulse in Hadleigh, Essex supplied and fitted it for me and did a really neat job with all the wiring; left the car in the morning, picked it up at lunchtime.
Saves my knuckles trying to get that damn vent out and route all the wiring. :D
