Parrot group buy?

I thought that the latest version of the iPhone OS 3 (standard on iPhone 3GS) can support Bluetooth music streaming.
Haven't got one so I can't test it but I'm sure that was one of the major plus points for upgrading. That and copy and paste.

I don't have the latest firmaware, for various legal reasons

Yeah bluetooth music streaming works great now with the iPhone. I use it with this...

BLUT.REC.MBR100_add2.jpg

Sony Ericsson MBR-100 Bluetooth Music Receiver

...and my hifi speakers. I used it in the car for a while but then you have the hassle of keeping it charged etc.

I'd be interested in getting one of these.
The Parrott MKi9100 seems to be the one to buy though from what I can gather. I have the standard business CD with carver and would ideally like the kit to be installed by them

Uhh, it all confuses me

I like the idea of picking up calls and stuff via the radio etc, so Parrot is the way to go for that.

But I also want to be able to use my wheel controls to skip tracks or scan them (if possible), back to a device that then asks the iPhone to do that...

Is that all possible!? Is the audio quality still good over Bluetooth?

It all makes my head hurt. It should be law that all new cars have bluetooth integration as standard, and then the software to integrate with cars should be plugins you use for your phone, written for specific cars by whoever (ideally manufacturers)

That would solve that one :)

At the risk off this turning into a Bluetooth discussion...

I need a decent amount of people interested - please discuss Bluetooth/iPhone elsewhere - otherwise this won't happen. I don't even need one, so it's up to you guys.

Do you have the breakdown in costs per qty ordered?

If we start the list of names now.

1.PVR CK3100

1.PVR CK3100
2.TH3R4POR CK3100

(I hate these group buys as I have to ring up the firm with delivery details and say my name to them, and they can't read it :D)

in case anyone is interested .............Ive just managed to track down a Parrot MKi9200 which works with your IPhone via Bluetooth for streaming music via your car stereo and for calls. It also comes with a hardwired in socket for an Iphone and a USB so your phone can charge your iphone as you drive and it can also play music through your car stereo and offers a few more features like album information etc.

I have a standard BMW system that now is totally bluetooth activated for music and calls.

And it was either £155 to buy out right or £200 fitted. I had it fitted because i wanted the easy option but it was a good price.

incarelectronix was the company in the midlands.

Only interest on this model?

My friend spoke to one of their dealers who was willing to sort something out: http://www.avrmobiles.co.uk/parrot_bluetooth_hands_free_car_kits.html

I am out of this one now as I bought the kit now, did not think this groupbuy was going anywhere.
