Parrot and Hifi Prof.

Does anyone know if the Parrot can handle the Hifi Prof?
A Parrot MKI9100 has been installed in my Z4. The front sounds great, but the rear is not working.
Could it be that the Parrot is not switching on the rear (and subs) ?
Or has it been wrongly installed?

Just got the answer from Parrot La France:
Parrot cannot handle 2 amps, that's why there is no sound from the subwoofer.

Nice thing, the parrot, but mine goes in the garbage-can.
I need the sub for massaging my back.

Basically I had no use for the Parrot anyway.
I thought it can handle multiple phones.
So I paired my business Nokia and my private Iphone.
Both worked, but not simultaneously.

So I still get fined for talking carkitless to my other mistress on the "not-connected-phone"...
Solution might be 2 parrots, but then I don't have any sound left.

Sorry to bring up an old post but my subs are not working and I'm not sure of it's related to a parrot install a few months ago. Someone in this thread said it wouldn't work.

If you turn the parrot off and just listen to the radio my subs still aren't working.

Is it the parrots fault or would the parrot only stop the music through the subs if your steaming through the parrot ?

Hope that makes sense.

The Parrot actually has an Aux out function that will allow you to connect it to the Aux in on the back of the head unit much like you would an Ipod connection.
This will allow the Parrot to feed the Headunit and let the HU sort the sound out rather than route the HU through the Parrot.

Check the wiring diagram for the Parrot model you have; downside is if you're using it for bluetooth telephone you need to set it to AUX.
