I watched this tonight and there was one particular bit that got up my nose.

The mayor of Ross on Wye got a parking ticket - the pompous git said to camera that this authority would be paying his penalty and that any appeal would be dealt with by his secretary!

Just who do these people think they are?

If I was on business, my parking tickets would not have been paid by the company.
 
Darn it, I love this kind of trash TV. I was looking forward to seeing what the Mayor did about his ticket as well. I will be digging this out on catch up TV I think.

I caught the end where the tattoo artist looked a bit sheepish about berating the traffic warden. He did eventually apologise.
 
Did I spot a Z4 on last nights programme?
There was one on last weeks programme too.

I watched that last night and thought the same. His expenses shouldn't be covering his parking tickets.
 
the major was acting the big, all important man for the camera - but yes, a complete twonk

What stood out for me was the crazy cat lady and her CCTV homed in on those 'unused' car ports
 
No i still think the self opinionated pompous little git of a mayor takes firsts place. He broke the rules fair and square it seems but wants his rate paying public to foot the bill or have his secretary make the appeal - again at the rate paying publics expense!
It doesn't work like that in the real world !
 
well said ronk. his excuse of the fine saying he put £4 in but only 3 registered just shows hes a mong who cant use a simple parking meter. wonder if his town is having some bookkeeping issues?
 
I might get slaughtered for this ,but I think traffic wardens do a great job, in fact more are required to put a stop to the pi** poor parking of inconsiderate people who don't give a fig for other road users and would rather block the road than pay 50p in the car park.
 
I fucking hate traffic wardens... especially when I get a ticket in a car park after forgetting to renew it for a small period, paying, and still getting a fine.

If you park illegally you should get towed, what good is a fine only, if you need to be moved?

i understand, but why not overpay in the carpark and give your ticket to someone else, if theres time left on it.

most places you cant cos you have to put your reg on the ticket
 
Couldn't agree more with Ronk. Yet another example of a council wallah full of his own p**s and importance. Too many forget they are there to serve the public rather than treat them with contempt. Sooner they get kicked by Pickles the better.
