Parking Sensors Please Help

I am having an issue with my parking sensors.

The car has after market ones on the front which are activated by the button seen below. The rears are oem.

Upon selecting reverse I have no beep to say the sensors are engaged (which I am pretty sure should happen?) upon reversing or moving forward my sensors beep whether there is something behind the vehicle or not and when I get closer to something the beeping doesn't change.

Upon investigation I can't hear any of my sensors clicking from what I can tell. Also upon pulling out the fuse it all looks okay!

Any idea what this could be? Help would be appreciated

Can't really help I'm afraid, other than to say the initial beep to tell you the rear sensors are on is selectable. I think it needs to be coded in.

Did the rear sensors work previously?
Have they just stopped working or never worked at all?

They work just intermittently.

They beep but not in correlation to what's behind!

You could try and re-seat the control unit. It's in the right hand side of the boot behind the carpet near the rear light.
