Parking sensors gone mad

They ping like mad when in reverse! It's not the sensors apparently so any suggestions about wiring etc. Sometimes they work fine and just ping when there is something there. Thanks

How have you decided its not a snsor problem, constant bonging normally points to a sensor on its way out
Had a similar problem on mine found 1 faulty sensor and a bad connection on another . I may have a spare control box in my garage if its required

I'd really want to know how he tested them. The ear on it is helpful but not definitive. If he's run it on a tester then he'd have been able to say with certainly the fault and location.

As an aside almost all failures are the sensor with water in it, or loom not connected fully/corroded

+1

I had one replaced under warranty a few years back when the same thing happened to me.
It recently started beeping when not near anything, so when I next washed the car I sprayed some cleaner on the sensors and used a toothbrush to lightly clean them. Seems fine now.
