Parking sensor replacement

Hey Everyone,

I have just got my used e86 coupe, and couple of thing are obviously not going as it should starting with the keys, windows that don't work and unfortunately the flywheel having issue. Last thing are now the parking sensors. I have identified the 2 ones having default so now I'm planning these 2.
Question is, I have found the part on several website and they come black obviously but I'm wondering if there is a cover on the car with the sensor behind, then I could simply switch it or if there is a need of repainting the sensor itself ?

Pretty sure you’ll have to get them painted. I picked up painted ones after searching eBay.

I've just changed one of my e86, and they do need to be painted. I got a second hand one in the correct colour, quite easy to change.
