Parking sensor prob

So iv had the car for a few months now, but went to park yesterday and the sensors give a very long single tone when I engage reverse. They did not do this before and they no longer bleep when near objects, is the single tone a warning of a malfunction? If so looks like a trip to the stealers for yet more AUC work.
Any Help would be great

Single long beep is to tell you the system is not working. else you'd have silence until you reversed into something and heard the crunch.

Since it's AUC then trip to the dealer for most likely a new sensor

Thanks for that, thought that was the case but wanted to make sure as if you go to stealers and it works then they have been know to charge you as no prob found therefore not covered under AUC. I'll call them tomorrow
