Paranoid owner

Any car forum is only used for a very few reasons .
To show off your lovely motor,
To ask for help or advice because your lovely motor is ill.
To have a bit of a lark with like minded people
To Get something cheap.
Most things will fit into these categories .

So show your lovely motor to us every chance you get.
Drive it until it breaks
Laugh about how you broke it.
Ask for help.
Get it cheap.

Repeat the process simples.

There will be a large number of people who visit a forum because they have a problem with their car.
There will be a much higher number of people who have never visited a forum and have never had a problem at all.
So percentage wise the ones with problems will be quite low.

Thanks guys, it’s nice to hear I’m not alone.
Thanks for those who pointed out that most forum members only post if there’s a problem and they are a tiny fraction of Zed owners.I do realise this of course, but it’s easy to lose perspective when you are immersed in a world of failing Zeds
A big thank you to ‘simonlpearce’ for his post – that really helped :D And ‘Dev’ - I’ve been there done that. Thanks ‘paul s’ (are you a counsellor? I’m feeling better already  ). Cheers to ‘stevo///m3’ for giving me the VANOS to add to my worry list :( . And ‘Bing’ thanks for letting me know your roof motor went on your last one :headbang: And thanks ‘sw4nny’ for the forum philosophy - cool 8)

Happy motoring :driving:

Love the logic

My car sailed through it's MOT today, so my paranoia is much reduced... For now :D

Stop reading about the problems that might never happen.
Oh and never buy a TVR you'd never sleep at night.

Had TVR's for 12 years now. My Z4C has cost me more in repairs and left me stranded, where as the Griff has never let me down. Z4C total mileage covered by me 5k. Griff Mileage, 25k. Both around the 55k mark.

Having said that I am a glutton for punishment and own a Ducati and an MV Agusta...

 It's actually true. Without this forum, I'd never knew, that there's possible failure of disa and vanos seals (maybe one in a million, but still).

And heard word "detailing" first time. So how wrong I was thinking, my car was clean. I've bought lots of cleaning products etc
