Paralympics

The C4 coverage is terrible. It's a shame as they made a good job of hyping it ip as so many people I know said they were looking forward to the paralympics but they either can't get the coverage of what they want to see, can't stand the ad breaks or can't stand the awful commentary.

A real shame. I don't understand why C4 got it. They should stick to what they know best. Making freak shows thinly veiled as fly on the wall documentaries about the socially dysfunctional and otherwise afflicted.

Wheelchair basket ball last night was superb. Very physical, the passing and shooting was brilliant and the manoverability of the players in their chairs was just amazing.

Agree though that the advertising is a total fag and the commentary/punditry needs to go up a gear pretty damn quick if they want to retain our interest.................

Driving home from work earlier on and listening to the coverage from the velodrome on 5 Live was brilliant.

Not having the visual experience it was just like listening to an Olympic cycle race. Exciting stuff....

Have to say that BBC Radio Sports commentators are just the best.

I feel rather guilty. I think the athletes are incredible doing what they do and the whole event is a great idea and I'm sure it will be tremendously organised, BUT for some reason I'm just not interested. :|

I think what they do is amazing and deserves recognition. Very humbling for us able bodied folks :hattip:

I saw something of it on German tv yesterday. A Chinese athlete cycling on the track with one leg, those athletes sure have character, respect to them
