Panic buying fuel again

She keeps you in there?
Touche!

I'm joking of course. My wife is a good Catholic girl and wouldn't entertain such filth; but her Priest would :D

Possibly a good idea to move it up a drawer or two... it might help avoid an awkward conversation with the paramedics where you have to explain what you were doing when you put your back out...

From what I hear, it’s probably a little tame for paramedics

Wouldn't work in my house either. My wife's got a feckin great dildo in hers so there's no room. :o

Brilliant

Needed to get somewhere today, but the satnav doesn’t have the “avoid petrol station” option :x

People cannot be trusted to think for themselves, I can start to understand the communist regimes now.

No problem avoiding the queues, just get yourself another Porker...

Disaster, my lawnmower has just run out of petrol. Do I stand in a petrol queue between cars, or should I just walk up to the front of the queue with my little green can and say, "excuse me Sir...."

As soon as someone has filled up, and not moved the car, you can fill a jerrycan as it is not taking anyone else’s place. Can’t see a problem with that.

I have just been looking for a red diesel pump and will do the same there

I managed to find some petrol for our family car at the local Tesco last night. Relatively short 20 min queue, organised staff - but the guy in front of me pulled up to the pump and filled a jerry can from his boot, but in an effort to hide the fact his car was brimmed he left his drivers door open and opened the flap of his car

You'll probably be fine at your local sleepy village station but I would bank on a couple of black eyes if in the middle of Stoke-on-Trent

Tim.

Only two blacks eyes. That's not so bad then. :)

Is the norm 3 eyes up there? I have heard of inbred areas in the UK so that must be that area then :D

Time of day seems to make a big difference in my neck of the woods. Fair sized queues in the (mid) mornings & all empty by the afternoon at my nearest Tesco seemed to be the pattern - so I guess they're getting deliveries overnight.
So I figured sometime around 6am might be OK - queue was just 4-5 cars deep at that time yesterday and job done in 5mins or so. Result!

Perhaps if you mention it is the job application or vaccine queue it would make the skivers and anti vaxxers move away ... :D

No diesel at my local Shell but they did have petrol.. The Esso a little further on had petrol and diesel but no super unleaded, no real queueing, drove straight up at both stations

I was at costco in Edinburgh on Wednesday and it was totally fine no queues whatsoever and no shortages at all, most stations I saw have been the same

Ditto at the Sainsbury's round the corner from me. There are a lot of shift-workers in my town; I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

So are there more diesel vehicles on the road, or are fuel hoarders mostly diesel drivers?

I guess diesel goes in more vehicles overall, vans, trucks and anything remotely involved in the building trade and the like and those guys tend to do a lot of mileage and therefore are probably brimming... I have stuck to my usual weekly 40 quid, don't see the need to buy more, there is probably 20 quids worth in the z4 if i get stuck
