Pairing a Samsung S9+ with a 2012 E89?

According to the BMW compatibility check online, my Samsung S9+ is not listed as a compatible bluetooth device :(

Is there a Pro Radio firmware upgrade to solve this issue, does anyone know? Thanks

No...the BMW E89 Z4 software is ‘functionally stabilised’ ie no upgrades...
 
Not sure if this helps but my wife has a Note 9 and has it paired in our 2010 Z.
She never had any problems pairing it.
 
Often it’s the extended facilities that are not available as Bluetooth functionality extends...lucky dip...

Secondly I have the Samsung A70 (new current model) and mine pairs perfectly so I wouldn't worry about your S9+, it should pair fine
 
It has Pro Nav, Pro Radio, Comms option, Hi Fi Business media package so I presume so. It does try to pair. Will give it a good try soon. Just too busy at the moment which is frustrating.

ALL SORTED!!

Samsung S9+ paired straight away. What i was doing wrong was not entering 0000 in to the car and the phone at the same time. Once I did that the phone connected perfectly, phone book, messages etc. etc. Thanks for trying to help, much appreciated.
