Pair of Recaro Pole Position bucket seats

I have decided to change the seats in my Z4M so a pair of black Recaro Pole Position seats are for sale.

This is what they look like in the car:

Each seat will be supplied with two sets of side mounts - a "high" set and a "low" set - and a set of adjustable runners/sliders.

The seats are dated 2003 but are in very good condition.

At the moment they are still in the car and will be until my new seats arrive and have been fitted.

You should be aware that if they are mounted low in Z4, as I need them, then they do not *quite* fit and the outer shoulder/wing will touch the door as it closes. Options are to either mount them a little higher when they will clear the door or have the seat slightly modified to slim the shoulder/wing down.

All together this would be about £1,700 new; I'd like £1,000 plus delivery. Collection from SW London preferred but happy to discuss options.
 
LoL, no, not heated ... these are race seats!

Just think of the weight saving, must be about 20kg a side compared to standard seats.

All will be revealed in due course ...
 
what mounts/brackets are these on?

I would love these, but I have a recaro pole position sat in my house doing nothing, and haven't really got the spare cash.

Could be interested in just the fixings though if you'd be willing to split.
 
I really REALLY want these... But £1,000... OMG.

I just bought 2 Corbeau Forza seats for £52! lol in red suede! getting them to fit will be the hard part! :)

They are on Sparco frames; what look to me like Sparco runners and certainly Recaro side mounts.

To be honest I don't think it makes sense for either of us to split - side mounts are only about £60-70/pair, runners and frames similar money; you wouldn't save a lot and I'm sure they will be easier for me to sell together.

That is a bargain but to be fair the Forza is a pretty basic, steel frame seat, whereas Pole Positions are FIA standard GRP shells.

However, you should feel free to make me an offer, but £52 probably won't be quite enough ... ;)

Hmm, tell you what if you take both you can have them for £53 per kg how about that? ;)

Not to speak of, there is a small mark on the shoulder of the passenger seat. On the driver's side the previous owner had the seat mounted higher up and further forward than I need, so the door did not touch the seat.

Hmm, tell you what if you take both you can have them for £53 per kg how about that? ;)

So that's 14kg x £53 = £742, so a £250 off the original asking price if I pay per kg :P

But tempting as it is (you really don't know how tempting), my willpower is maintaining my resolve...just.

Anyway, they're the wrong colour, and I'd have to get them retrimmed in Champagne.

You forgot the ~4kg for the mounts and runners ... ;)

Went down that thought process about 5 years ago, not long after I got the car as the seats were a bit of a letdown.

Something like this - although with alcantara centres - or maybe two-tone with champagne centres and black outers.
