E85 2008 with 32,000 miles in Monaco Blue, has a few stone chips on front end, a couple on the leading wing tops and on the bonnet. Of course this is to be expected, nowt major - far from it - but it's nice to have great paintwork. Currently all original with normal BMW super shine as you'd expect.
Question; at a good quality paint shop where colour match and finish is a given, what sort of cost should I expect for bumper, bonnet and front of wings (assume they will blend the wings in)? Best guess? Any experience of similar?
Typing this I've almost talked my way out of it, if done will certainly be a late spring job when the roads are a bit better! But If it's not this year it will be next!
As I'm (probably) having the bumper painted is it possible to get an "M" bumper at sensible costs, even with a bit of repair work required (prefer OEM)? Assume this is a relatively common upgrade, imagine M bumpers are like rocking horse p o o......
